Jell-O Popcorn Balls

Messy-good fun!

16 cups popcorn, air-popped
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup Splenda
1 package gelatin powder with aspartame -- Cherry, lime, whatever flavor you like) (SugarFree Jell-O)

Place popped popcorn in LARGE bowl.

Mix together corn syrup and Splenda in 8 cup Pyrex measuring bowl; microwave on High 3 minutes.

Add gelatin; mix well; microwave on High 30 seconds.

Pour over popcorn and stir well to distribute evenly. Let cool slightly. Shape into 16 balls - to make this easier, spray your hands with Pam between every couple of popcorn balls.

*Note from Rhonda* I just let the popcorn and jello set up and didn't make the balls... great movie snack!!

Variations: I accidentally used koolaid instead of jello and it is great! I used pink lemonade. Also a friend of mine loves using butter popcorn instead of plain... she says it's very yummmy too!
