Rhonda's - Pepperjack Burgers

These are soooo yummy. I made them last night but they were eaten before the picture was taken. What can I say? I forgot.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 pounds ground lean beef
1 small onion diced into small pieces
1 T. soy sauce
1 T. ketchup
1 t. minced garlic
1/4 t. pepper
1/3 cup pepperjack cheese (can use other cheeses)
4 strips turkey bacon
1 tomato, cut into 4 slices

Combine the ground beef, onions, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and pepper.  Blend in the cheese and form into four burgers.

Heat skillet or grill sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook the burgers until cooked through, 6-8 minutes on each side. When you turn the burgers, add the bacon to the skillet or grill cook until crisp, 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve the burgers in buns, with the bacon and tomato slices.

I also added lettuce, pickles and sweet onion.

  2. It is very easy, Brisbane and if you like your burgers a little spicier, add a diced jalopeno to the meat... yummmmeeeee
