Rhonda's - Pan-Fried Fish

3/4 cup of milk

2 to 3 pounds of fresh fish fillets, we like catfish but trout can be used too

Salt and lemon pepper (reg. pepper if you don't like lemon pepper)

1 1/2 cups of flour or cornmeal

cooking oil

Pour milk into a bowl and dip the pieces of fish in the milk. Sprinkle with seasonings and then dredge the fish pieces in the flour or cornmeal. In a big skillet, heat up the cooking oil (put in enough to measure about 1/8-inch in the skillet) over medium heat, and add in the fish. when the fish turns golden-brown and crispy, it's time to gently flip the pieces to the other side. Let them cook the same way and after a few minutes they will be ready to serve.
